TradeIQ is Consumer Reports for trading platforms. We open accounts, deposit real money, execute real trades, and report exactly what we find — no sponsored rankings, no affiliate-driven scores, no exceptions.
Why We Exist
Most trading platform "reviews" online are SEO content written by people who've never placed a trade. They regurgitate marketing copy, rank platforms based on affiliate commissions, and leave readers worse off than before.
We got tired of it. TradeIQ was built to be the site we wished existed — one where the scores actually reflect the experience of trading, not the size of the referral check.
Our Testing Process
Every platform we review goes through our full testing protocol:
- Real-money testing — We open live accounts and execute trades across asset classes
- Fee audit — We map every fee, spread, and hidden cost over 30+ days of active trading
- UX scoring — Onboarding, order execution, charting tools, and mobile experience are scored independently
- Security review — We assess 2FA, data breach history, regulatory standing, and fund protection
- Customer support test — We contact support with real questions and time the responses
Our Independence Policy
TradeIQ may earn commissions from affiliate programs when readers sign up via our links. This is disclosed clearly. However:
- Affiliate relationships have zero influence on platform scores or rankings
- We never accept payment for reviews or take "sponsored placement" on ranking lists
- Platforms that pay us more do not rank higher — our scores are determined by testing data alone
