Editorial Policy

TradeIQ's scores, rankings, and recommendations are determined entirely by our testing methodology — not by commercial relationships. This page explains exactly how we work.

How We Score Platforms

Every platform is evaluated across five weighted categories:

  • Fees & Costs (25%) — Commissions, spreads, withdrawal fees, inactivity fees, hidden charges
  • Platform & Tools (25%) — Charting, order types, research, mobile app quality
  • Execution Quality (20%) — Speed, slippage, fill rates across market conditions
  • Security & Regulation (20%) — Regulatory status, fund protection, 2FA, breach history
  • Customer Support (10%) — Response time, resolution quality, support channels available

Scores are calculated from test data, not from surveys or self-reported metrics provided by platforms.

Commercial Independence

TradeIQ earns revenue through affiliate commissions — we receive a fee when a reader opens an account via our referral links. This is disclosed on every relevant page.

Our commitment: affiliate income never influences editorial scores, rankings, or recommendations. Platforms that pay higher commissions do not receive better scores. Platforms that do not participate in any affiliate program receive the same quality of review as platforms that do.

We do not accept payment for sponsored reviews, paid placements in rankings, or any form of editorial influence from the companies we review.

Review Updates

Trading platforms change rapidly. We re-test platforms when major fee changes, platform updates, or regulatory events occur. All reviews display their last-updated date. If you notice outdated information, please contact us.

Corrections Policy

We correct factual errors promptly. Corrections are noted inline in the relevant article with a date stamp. If you believe a review contains an error, email [email protected] with supporting documentation.
